Megan Fox Is About To Completely Revitalise a Bankrupt Lingerie Brand With This One Shoot
Megan Fox recently became the co-owner of lingerie brand Frederick’s of Hollywood taking on both a business roll and a creative one in pushing the brand on her own personal direction.
Fox was once named “World’s Sexiest Woman” by Maxim and the title still holds true today. Her line is sensual and doesn’t hold back the sex appeal at all.
“My definition of beauty is simplicity, elegance, and sensuality.” Fox said. “I think that when a woman is in harmony with herself and remains true to her values, she will glow naturally.”
“I think women should own what they wear. Confidence looks great on everyone.”
The 30 year old never thought she’d be part of the fashion industry, but has taken to it quickly, sharing sketches and concepts on her Instagram. “I didn’t really think I was going to be designing lingerie at any point in my life, but I thought, ‘What an interesting, fun challenge.’ It’s something I never anticipated.” she told W Magazine.
The Transformers star is one of our modern day Sex Symbols, and as she talks about her experiences with lingerie It isn’t hard for the fantasies to start rolling in.
“I love Victoria’s Secret, but they didn’t have the really naughty stuff that I wanted to wear. I went to the Frederick’s store on Hollywood Boulevard and bought a lot of stuff, and felt rebellious and empowered and excited that I got to wear all of this stuff that I knew my mom would die if she knew I was wearing.”
It’s not all about sex appeal for us though. “Of course empowering women is important, especially when you are dealing with lingerie because it does have such a history of existing solely to excite or engage a man, and the woman is lost in that process.”
Frederick’s of Hollywood specialises in “sexy comfort” style garments. The company last year hit a spot of trouble when it closed all its physical stores. But it’s hoped that with Megan at the helm the business can be turned around.
“Stay tuned for more including my personal collection coming holiday 2017.”
