Tourist Etiquette, What Would You Do in These Situations?


When you see something going down, are you the hero that sticks his nose into everyone’s business, or do you fade into the background cause it’s definitely someone else’s problem to deal with.

In a recent survey conducted by Travel Leaders Group, peopleAmericans were asked how they would handle certain uncomfortable – yet fairly common – travel dilemmas.

Most people appealed to authority when it was available, and when it wasn’t, people would do nothing at all.

People would appeal to security guards or flight attendants when they’d see things happening like vandals damaging a park attraction, or if a passenger was mistreating a fellow passenger.

When it came to minor things like cutting into lines or other people talking over a safety briefing travellers are much more likely to keep their head down “it’s not that big a deal anyway, right?”
