IT-Trailer

This Trailer for “IT” is Terrifying People

Coulrophobia is alive and kicking. Based on the Stephen King novel and ancient TV Mini-series the new IT movie directed by Andrés Muschietti  has being freaking people the hell out.

Since the trailer dropped yesterday it’s been making the rounds on social media and giving everyone the willies. I have to say, I’m looking forward to reviewing it when it comes out later this year. Also you might notice Stranger Thing’s Finn Wolfhard among the cast list! Although according to the viral marketing, it looks like he’s going to be the missing child this time.

The movie starts off when children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine. A group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries. Really it’s just a good excuse to go get chased around by demon clowns.

IT stars Bill Skarsgård (Allegiant, TV’s Hemlock Grove) as the story’s central villain, Pennywise. An ensemble of young actors also star in the film, including Jaeden Lieberher (Midnight Special), Jeremy Ray Taylor (Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip), Sophia Lillis (37), Wyatt Oleff (Guardians of the Galaxy), Chosen Jacobs (upcoming Cops and Robbers), Jack Dylan Grazer (Tales of Halloween) and Nicholas Hamilton (Captain Fantastic).

IT releases in New Zealand cinemas September 7, 2017
